A School-in-a-Box for 80 children - Ethiopia

Ethiopian nomad children and their families often travel with the herd or live in small groups in extremely remote areas. For them this box is their school! The box contains supplies including exercise books, wooden blocks for counting and a wind-up/solar radio. And the lid of the box can be used as a blackboard. The School-in-a Box ensures the continuation of children's education for children living in extreme conditions, like the nomad children in Ethiopia.
